Kyle Wiltjer32 year old power forward product of Gonzaga Bulldogs, took part in the presentation of the 29th day of the championship in which his Reyer Venezia is already certain of fourth place in the standings, but still has to fulfill the last obligations of the regular season starting with Sunday’s trip to the field heat of a Happy Casa Brindisi playing out their last chances of survival, to conclude with the group’s expectations for the upcoming post-season.

A warm PalaPentassuglia. “A very important match awaits us in Brindisi because up front we will have a team that must save itself, playing at home and in a warm environment. For us, however, it is excellent training in view of the playoffs, playing such tough games in similar atmospheres trains us to win away games and we must bring them inside to grow. We will have to maintain a very high level of pace and standard, we will play as if we were already in the playoffs. Obviously we hope to return home healthy and without ailments, but it will be a match that we will exploit to get closer to the post season.”

Reyer is also making progress according to Wiltjer. “We feel very good, this week we trained with great application and concentration, doing something better every day. The playoffs are very difficult but, by maintaining this attitude, the results will come. Personally, I’m fine and I feel like I’m in rhythm with the game. My role is particular because I have to come off the bench and always be ready. I also believe I have reached the right mental state to play this role, from the point of view of the energy I bring to the pitch and the contribution to the team. This role suits me.”
