After last night’s victory, Ergin Ataman from the Oaka press room he declared having been threatened by a member of the Israeli club’s staff, who would have told him: “see you in Israel, you’ll see what the Zionists will do to you…”. At the end of the match Kostas Antetokounmpo stopped Antonius Cleveland and, not happy, he stared at him, triggering a reaction – albeit minimal – from the American from Maccabi Tel Aviv. The two players were separated with the match now closed, while subsequently Ergin Ataman, coach of Pana, had a Maccabi fan (?) kicked out of the stadium after he managed to reach the locker room. The Turkish coach requested the intervention of the security forces. It is not clear who this person was, but Sport5 posted a video of the incident which shows Ataman enraged by his presence. “What are you doing in my locker room!?”, Ataman shouts. “Who is this man!? Who is this man!? What are you doing! Where is the security! Take this man out!”.
