The Wimbledon 2021 finalist, after withdrawing from the Master 1000 in Madrid due to tonsillitis, could choose the Monte Urpinu tournament to best prepare for the Italian Internationals in Rome. The Cagliari tournament will start next Monday until May 5th.
”We had already spoken with Berrettini about a Wild Card – specifies the director of the Cagliari tournament, Martin Vassallo Arguello – then the victory in Marrakech changed his plans. Now, after the withdrawal in Madrid, we hope he can ask for a new invitation”.
