L’Aquila City of Rugby, the golden years told in the photographic exhibition at Palazzo Margherita

On the occasion of the thirtieth anniversary of the ScudettoEagle Rugby was inaugurated on Sunday 21 April, at 11 am, at Palazzo Margherita the photographic exhibition L’Aquila City of Rugby. In fact, the week of events dedicated to the celebration of the thirtieth anniversary of the fifth scudetto won by the neroverdi has officially started, when Polisportiva triumphed against Milan. The images on display were taken by photographers Roberto Grillo and Marcello Spimpolo.
Organized with the collaboration ofAcademy of Fine Arts and Museum of the Vecchio Cuore Neroverde Rugby Club, the exhibition – in addition to the historic championship won 30 years ago – also displays shots of previous championships. Many have already arrived in recent days to visit the photographic story of the glorious years of Aquila Rugby, through some of the most important moments in its history.
The exhibition L’Aquila city of rugby – set up inside the courtyard of Palazzo Margherita – will be open to the public until Sunday 28 April, every day from 9am to 7pm, except on the closing day, when it can be visited until 5pm. Furthermore, the documentary will be screened during opening hours “Story of a dream”, produced by Rai Abruzzo.
