Good morning and welcome toLIVE LIVE text of Italy-France, third match of the Azzurri in the round robin of the 2024 Mixed Curling World Championships. On the ice of Ostersund (Sweden) the team composed of Stefania Constantini and Francis De Zanna is busy again after Saturday’s chiaroscuro.
Unlike the men’s and women’s World Championships, there is not just one grouping, but two. Italy which is part of group A and will try to break into the direct elimination phase after the disappointment of the last edition. Constantini will have the new De Zanna at his side, with the two fresh from the clear victory over Spain followed by the bitter KO against Switzerland.
Two initial defeats instead for France, which suffered a resounding KO against Switzerland before also giving way to the German pair. Transalpines who rely on Kseniya Shevchuk and Wilfrid Coulot and should not represent an insurmountable obstacle for their cousins from beyond the Alps.
The match between Italy and France, valid for the third day of group A of the World Mixed Curling Championship, will begin at 2.00 pm.
