C SERIES

Homeclick SB Volley has qualified for the women’s Serie C playoffs with a day to spare. The victory over Torri from Vicenza was decisive in the last home match of the regular season. But even more decisive is the continuity of performance of a team that traveled at high speed right from the starting blocks and which proved unbeatable at De Mas: 9 successes out of 9 matches.

With Thema Studio, however, you immediately have to suffer. Because, despite the starting 6-1, the Vicenza team climb back upstream and not only make an impact (17-17), but they have the merit of overtaking and earning 4 set balls which, however, the home team manages to cancel out for go on to win the first set 28-26. At the end of the match, Camilla Consoli was satisfied: «We have dreamed of the playoff finish line since the beginning of the championship. We achieved it and we are happy about it.” The power plant was the protagonist of a good performance: «Despite a somewhat hesitant start, we got to the point: we played as a team, without ever giving up. D SERIES

Homeclick fights in the last away match of the Serie D women’s championship. But they are unable to avoid their fifteenth loss of the season: Vision, in fact, manages to prevail at the end of a hard-fought match characterized by a series of very long rallies, in which the two teams defended great. But the Paduan hosts proved to be more concrete in the key moments of the match. The limited rotations at SB Volley also determined the defeat.

In the opening part, coach Pezzei’s team managed to close down a 7-point deficit, but two errors in the final stages of the part cost them dearly and Vision prevailed in the photo finish. Homeclick feels the pinch and even loses the second round, but gets back up in a third act conducted in the best possible way. However, there is no longer the energy to complete the comeback: the epilogue belongs to the Padua sextet, despite a Maria Ottone with 22 points.
