Essepigi Fano Rugby is preparing the first leg of the play-off semi-final for Serie B in Parma (return on May 5th at a venue to be defined), where they will compete against the second team of the team that plays in Serie A. The Parma team will instead have a week less to prepare for the home match against Gabriele Breccia and his teammates, having also been busy last weekend for the last day of the Emilia-Romagna C1 group. They closed it by beating Faenza 33-18, thus completing the regular season at 66 points against 75 for Lyons Piacenza, next opponent of Città di Castello in the other duel for access to the final promotion. In the meantime, the teams from the youth sector of Fano Rugby played, with the U18 team set up in collaboration with Pesaro capable of winning the direct clash with Rimini with a result of 17-13. A success, the one over the second in the standings, which brought this group even closer to the historic triumph in Interregional 2. Another victory is needed tomorrow in Senigallia against Ascoli.
