After the victory against Nadal in the second round, Alex De Minaur failed to reach the quarterfinals in the ATP tournament in Barcelona, being defeated by the Frenchman Arthur Fils. A certainly unexpected misstep for the Australian, who took the knockout against the Frenchman very badly, also directing a rude gesture towards the fans of the number thirty-six in the world.
