A record in the sights. If the scudetto were not up for grabs, or rather the timing of its assignment, Monday evening’s derby would still have a specific weight of its own. In fact, Inter arrives there as part of their best winning streak in matches against Milan: five, of which four last season and one in the first round of this championship. By winning, the Nerazzurri would improve their record and equal the series of six consecutive victories established by Milan on two occasions, between 1911 and 1913 as well as between 1946 and 1948.
