Musso 7 – The save on Luis Diaz is the reason why Atalanta manages to withstand the fury of the Reds. On Salah’s lob he relies on some superior entity, but for the rest of the match he is always very attentive.
Djimsiti 6.5 – He messes up for the entire first half, but then he makes a save that is practically worth a goal. In the second half he grows like the whole team.
Hien 6 –Try in every legal (and illegal) way to stop Gakpo, it’s a continuous fight. He doesn’t care at all about beauty, but only about pure substance.
Kolasinac 6.5 – Experience in races like this weighs like a boulder. He raises his shields when the Reds try to break through, he doesn’t think twice when he has to carry the team on his shoulders.
Zappacosta 7 – Tarantolato, especially in the second half. A couple of buckings put Robertson in crisis, then all his shrewdness comes out: he loses a couple of crucial minutes to bring home the result.
De Roon 7 – Who is? He runs everywhere, runs after any player with the red shirt on his shoulders. Other than a balancer, it is a normal phenomenon.
Ederson 7 – He takes free kicks, snatches balls, even rips at the restart. He gives strength to a team that is often crushed, he makes the difference in a very physical match. From 75′ Pasalic 6 – He plays a couple of fundamental balls, puts a game to sleep that after seven minutes was going badly.
Ruggeri 6 – The naivety after just five minutes weighs heavily and forces his team to run. He immediately erases the mistake by making himself available to the team. And he runs, until he runs out of breath.
Koopmeiners 6.5 – He finds the opening goal, but the offside position chokes the scream in his throat. He doesn’t shine as usual, but on nights like these it doesn’t matter. Really.
Miranchuk 6 – He messes up a bit, but in the end he’s always there: in dangerous actions the number 59 is always present, his one of the few shots of the match. From 75′ Lookman sv.
Scamacca 6 – It’s a constant fight, banging and banging. He lacks clarity in front of goal, but it doesn’t matter, this evening everything is worth it. From 75′ De Ketelaere 6 – He comes in and holds balls, with skill and quality.
Gian Piero Gasperini 8 – There’s little to be done, it’s yet another masterpiece. This time the defeat is sweet, very sweet indeed. How wonderful this Goddess is that she no longer wants to stop.

Alisson 6.5 – He puts Kelleher back on the bench, there is no comparison between the two. Timely in his exits, superior between the posts and with his feet.
Alexander-Arnold 6.5 – He returns to the starting lineup after a couple of months and causes the penalty that reopens the qualification. Inspired, he releases his creative streak. From 72′ Gomez 6 – Bring some punch to the final forcing.
Konate 6 – Van Dijk has his back, so he can often get up on the midfielders’ line to accompany the attacking maneuver.
Van Dijk 6.5 – The trusted Scamacca of this period is a difficult client to contain, leaving him only the connection work with his back to the goal.
Robertson 5.5 – Zappacosta is on his heels to limit his push and succeeds in his aim, but is unable to impose himself in the duel on the wing. Since ’80’ Danns sv
Szoboszlai 6 – Adrenaline in his way of being on the pitch, he always keeps the Atalanta defense on their toes without however finding the spark. From 67′ Elliott 6 – The crossbar at Anfield was perhaps the sliding door of the double match, this time it doesn’t cause danger but the impact is good.
Mac Allister 6.5 – Where you put him, midfielder or playmaker in front of the defense changes little: he gets rid of the pressure with his usual class.
Jones 6 – Having survived Klopp’s mini-revolution, compared to the first leg he is less confusing and more involved.
Salah 6.5 – Surgical from eleven meters, he displaces Musso but then pardons him by miscalibrating the lob of the potential doubling. From 67′ Núñez 5.5 – He tickles Musso.
Gakpo 6 – The furthest thing from the canons of the classic center forward, he varies across the entire attacking front, taking Hien around the pitch.
Luis Diaz 5.5 – Privileged reference point for the Reds’ quick counterattacks, he is the first recipient but never manages to break through. From 67′ Jota 5.5 – Lots of movement, little yield.
Jurgen Klopp 6 – Turnover reduced to the union minimum for the almost impossible mission: the immediate goal fuels hopes but never comes close to the semi-final. Out of Europe as favourites, he only has the Premier League left to add one last trophy to his extraordinary cycle.
