A wave on the sand between greenery and natural materials. This is what will happen in Torre Pedrera where another bathing establishment is being renovated. It is Bagno Rosa number 63. The project has been approved by the council, while the property is progressing with the demolition works of the buildings present in the area. “Once the demolition is finished we will be able to start with the construction work on the new factory” explain the company that manages the factory with the owners Pierpaolo Ricci and Anna Maria Moretti.
“However, we will not be able to complete all the works we have planned in time for next season. We will carry out some interventions such as the area with the hydromassage tubs at a later time. For now we are concentrating on the necessary structures and the characteristics of the new factory”.
Among these is the wave on the sand. “Our factory does not overlook the seafront, as we have properties between the seafront and the beach. Therefore the furniture between the walkway and green flowerbeds that others have created close to the seafront, we will create on the sand. It will be a non-rectilinear walkway, rather undulating with green areas and which will run parallel to the sea”. Bagno Rosa, like other establishments that have been redeveloped in Torre Pedrera, is also located on a private and non-state beach. Therefore it is not affected by the events of the renewal or tenders for state concessions. Among the services included in the project there are also two wooden gazebos, a beach volleyball-tennis court, a ping-pong table, a gym area on a wooden platform and a children’s play area.
In the project a lot of attention is paid to the environment with sustainable solutions. For example, there is the photovoltaic system to supply energy to the factory. There are also systems for water recovery “and in the future we intend to equip ourselves with columns for charging electric vehicles”.
