As in 2023, the first three races – we are only talking about the Sunday GP, without considering the sprint – were won by three different riders: Pecco Bagnaia triumphed in Qatar; Jorge Martin in Portugal; Maverick Viñales in the GP of the Americas. Last season they won: Bagnaia in Portugal; Bezzecchi in Argentina; Rins in Texas. By the end of 2023, eight drivers had reached the top step of the podium at least once; in addition to the winners of the first three races, the following also succeeded: Martin, Espargaro, Di Giannantonio, Zarco and Bastianini.
How will it go in 2024? The first three races have shown a certain leveling between Ducati, Aprilia and KTM, with the Borgo Panigale manufacturer still maintaining an advantage, and many riders who can challenge it. For me, potentially, there could be nine different winners in November after the last GP in Valencia.
