The referees have been chosen for the second leg of the Europa League quarter-finals. The Polish Szymon Marciniak will be in charge of AC Milan-Roma, while the Frenchman Francois Letexier will be in charge of Atalanta-Liverpool. The former refereed the return quarter-final between Milan and Napoli last season.

In Roma-Milan the assistants will be Tomasz Listkiewicz and Adam Kupsik, while the fourth official will be Pawel Raczkowski. At Var Tomasz Kwiatkowski and Bartosz Frankowski. This year Marciniak refereed – among others – Lazio-Feyenoord and the Club World Cup final between Manchester City and Fluminense. In his career he managed the Rossoneri four other times: the balance is one victory, two draws and one defeat. Against Roma, however, two defeats against Porto and Real Madrid (both in the Champions League).

Letexier, however, managed Lazio-Bayern Munich and Inter-Salzburg this season, as well as the match between Real Madrid and Manchester City. In his career he has managed Atalanta only once, on the occasion of the success against Bayer Leverkusen 1-0 in 2022.
