Gp Jerez Test, Rins: “I like the new aerodynamic package”

MotoGP Test Spain Jerez Yamaha – Alex Rins closed the Jerez tests with the 14th time.

Alex Rins experimented with several components during the Jerez tests, including a new aerodynamic package, a revised chassis and evolutions in electronics. Comparing himself directly with his teammate Fabio Quartararo, Rins identified the strengths and weaknesses of the two configurations, appearing particularly satisfied with the updated aerodynamics. However, the chassis requires further development before it is race-usable. Despite this, the positive spirit reigns supreme as the team looks forward to making further improvements to their vehicles.

“Today was certainly a really positive test! We tried some elements: an aerodynamic package, a new chassis and we also worked on the electronic side. Fabio and I ran a bit together, just to understand the difference. He ran with the standard aerodynamics and I ran with the new one, and we wanted to see the positive and negative points, just to gather information. Honestly, the new aero package is something I like. I’m driving well with this aerodynamic package, but we can’t have it for Le Mans yet because the engineers need more time. But they will work on it. As for the chassis, I didn’t like that part very much, so we have to work on it a little more and I’m looking forward to it.”
