Poland: new two billion anti-drone system
Poland announces a new anti-drone defense system along its eastern border to protect the country from Russian incursions, with an investment of up to two billion euros. According to what was announced by the Deputy Minister of Defense, Cezary Tomczyk, the first installations will be operational within six months, while the completion of the project will take at least two years.
The system will be equipped with machine guns, cannons, missiles and devices to interfere with drones, which can be used especially in cases of war or extreme emergencies. The project will be financed with European funds from the Safe program and with national resources.
