21:37 – Third singer in the competition. He arrives Mister Rain on stage with his song “Superheroes”. 21:12 – The President Mattarella leaves Ariston. Viewers didn’t notice anything, because the director no longer framed the presidential box. Sergio Mattarella, however, quietly left the Ariston theater after the celebration of the 75th anniversary of the Constitution with the performance by Roberto Benigni. The decision was made because his presence during the singing evening would have been embarrassing. As long as he stayed there he would pay homage to one singer over another. And tonight not even everyone would have been in the race. So he left the theater with his daughter and took the road back to Rome, returning to the Quirinale without anyone noticing.

So tonight, Tuesday 7 February, the first evening of the 73rd edition of the San Remo Festival conducted for the fourth year by Amadeus and for the first time in history it will be the President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella was present in the room.
