A few more days of rest, then a first approach to the field. The road is marked out for Jannik Sinner in view of the Roland Garros. The situation of the Italian, who extended his stay in Turin after five days of therapy at J Medical to treat his right hip, is monitored day after day by his team. The news coming from the Piedmontese capital they seem reassuringas explained by Paul Bertolucci during Sky Tennis Show: “Everything seems to be fine and In a few days he will try to pick up the racket again with the doctors’ approval. One thing is certain: from now on they will no longer listen to Jannik (who would like to play them all all the time, ed.) – jokes Bertolucci -, but he will be the one to listen more to the advice of his team and doctors. If everything goes as hoped and if he responds in the right way on the field, then he will go to Paris.” The field test will be important to understand the progress made in recent days after the therapies and to also evaluate the athletic condition, variable to take into consideration. Sinner, in fact, hasn’t touched his racket since April 30th: “He won’t be in perfect condition given that he hasn’t trained for two weeks – continued Bertolucci – but the important thing is to get back on track”. A recovery that it could also coincide with overtaking Novak Djokovic at the top of the ATP rankings. In fact, if the Serbian does not reach the final in Paris, Jannik will become the new no. 1 in the world. “If it is to become n. 1 in the world, it’s right that it happens on the pitch” concluded Bertolucci.

Sinner, therefore, will dissolve his reservations for Paris in the next few days and will do so with the whole team, including Darren Cahill.
