Sanremo 2023 dates and conductors
The countdown to Sanremo 2023 is winding down: the 73rd edition of the Italian Song Festival will be staged from 7 to 11 February at the Ariston Theater, broadcast in prime time on Rai 1. Artistic director and conductor, once again, it’s Amadeus. He will be accompanied by Gianni Morandi, together with the co-presenters Chiara Ferragni (Tuesday 7 February, prime time, and final on Saturday 11 February), Francesca Fagnani (Wednesday 8 February, second evening), Paola Egonu (Thursday 9 February third evening) and Chiara Francini (Friday 10 February fourth evening).

On Tuesday 7 February – the first evening of the Sanremo Festival 2023 – the first 14 artists in the competition will perform. To lead, together with Amadeus, Gianni Morandi and Chiara Ferragni.

Guests of the first evening of Sanremo 2023 will be Mahmood and Blanco, winners of last year (they will sing “Brividi”), the Poohs and Elena Sofia Ricci to promote the fiction “Fiori sopra l’inferno”.

On Wednesday 8 February – second evening of the Sanremo Festival 2023 – the other 14 artists in the competition will perform. To lead, together with Amadeus, Gianni Morandi and Francesca Fagnani.

Guests of the second evening of Sanremo 2023 will be Al Bano, Massimo Ranieri and Gianni Morandi, the Black Eyed Peas and the comedian Angelo Duro.

Thursday 9 February – third evening of the Sanremo Festival 2023 – all 28 artists in the competition will sing their song. To lead, together with Amadeus, Gianni Morandi and Paola Egonu.

Sanremo 2023 fourth evening lineup
Friday 10 February – fourth evening of the Sanremo Festival 2023 – the 28 competing artists will offer a series of covers chosen from Italian and international songs from the 1960s, 70s, 80s, 90s and 2000s (here the complete list). To lead, together with Amadeus, Gianni Morandi and Chiara Francini.

Saturday 11 February – fifth and last evening of the Sanremo Festival 2023 – the winning song will be elected among the 28 proposed by the competing artists. To lead, together with Amadeus, Gianni Morandi and Chiara Ferragni.
Sanremo 2023 guests fifth evening
Guests of the fifth evening of Sanremo 2023, the final, will be Gino Paoli, Luisa Ranieri and Depeche Mode.
Zelensky’s video message
During the final evening, a recorded video message from the Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky will be broadcast (which has sparked several controversies).
Sanremo 2023 and Wild Moss
Muschio Selvaggio, the podcast created by Fedez and Luis Sal which has 1.11 million subscribers and over 177 million views, arrives on television for the first time. The two presenters will be in Sanremo to follow the most awaited musical event of the year live: the appointment is on Rai 2 for 15 minutes at 18.45 every day from 7 to 11 February (for a total of five episodes). The episode, in the full version of about 40 minutes, will then be available on the streaming platforms Rai, RaiPlay and RaiPlay Sound, starting at 19.00.
PrimaFestival 2023
The 2023 edition of PrimaFestival, the daily strip broadcast live from the glass studio in front of the Ariston Theater which opens the five evenings of the event, will be hosted by Andrea Delogu. With her the Own goal and Jody Cecchetto.
Events related to Sanremo 2023
On the stage set up in Piazza Colombo – in connection with the Ariston – Piero Pelù, Francesco Renga and Nek, Achille Lauro, Annalisa and the Lista Representative will perform. The connection with the Costa Smeralda ship has also been confirmed, which will host the performances of Salmo, Gué Pequeno, Fedez and Takagi & Ketra.

Sanremo 2023 on the radio
Rai Radio2 is the official radio of Sanremo 2023 (for the first time also in video on digital terrestrial channel 202). From Monday 6 February Radio2 turns into an always open window on the event, from early morning until late at night. Following and commenting on the five live evenings will be Ema Stokholma and Gino Castaldo.
