This is what Giulia Cecchettin said in voicemails and messages to Philip Turettaa few days before the murder.

«You don’t realize – writes Giulia – You control me constantly. You control me! A couple of times you showed up where I was without me telling you like: I’m at the stop or I’m ‘ad cazzum’, ok? Look what I do. There are things I want to keep to myself, because it scares me what you might do.”
In Turetta’s cell phone investigators not only found the messages of the murdered girl, but also many photostaken by the killer a few days before the murder.

Those are the photographs that kids take. Who ask little of the image and only have the desire to fix the moment; eternalize it, in a certain way, to endlessly relive those simple things, those almost banal memories, just by swiping your finger on the mobile screen.
But those moments will truly be eternal. Because in those 52 photographstaken between 6 and 9 pm on November 11, captures the last part of Giulia Cecchettin’s life. Her afternoon spent at the Nave de vero shopping center in Marghera, together with her ex-boyfriend Filippo Turetta. Before he, after having accompanied her almost to the front door of her house, killed her, hid her body down a slope and began a week-long escape, ending in Germany.
The shots are in the investigation file dedicated to the murder of the girl and were shown yesterday by the Mediaset transmission Pomeriggio Cinque News .
Investigators recovered them from Filippo Turetta’s cell phone. Together with the images taken by the mall’s cameras, they help piece together the story of that evening.
After the murder and escape, the arrest in Germany. Now the young man is in prison in Montorio, in the province of Verona, awaiting the preliminary hearing, which will take place on July 15.
