The official app of the service has unveiled a new game coming to Xbox Game Pass practically a surpriseconsidering that it was not included in what was previously announced but its arrival should be imminent, given that it has been included among the next titles in the catalogue: it is My Time At Sandrock.
The game in question, developed by Pathea Games, the game in question represents the sequel to My Time at Portia, offering a similar structure but with a completely new setting and richer and more varied gameplay, released last November and positively received by critics and audiences.
Also in this case we are dealing with a post-apocalyptic world but one with a rather fascinating and romantic style, characterized here by atmospheres that tend towards desert and western.
An enriched sandbox
In My Time at Sandrock we play the role of a novice “builder”, intent on giving new life in the village where we settled.
The plot is the classic one all focused on exploration, resource gathering and craftingbut the game mechanics are particularly varied and well constructed and balanced.
The large open world allows for a remarkable variety of different activities, with various surprising encounters and a deeper combat system than before, with character progression through the unlocking of new abilities that has nothing to do with role-playing.
My Time At Sandrock is likely to be included in the second wave of Game Pass games in June 2024, which is actually expected to be announced this week and perhaps as soon as tomorrow and which is largely still mysterious, except for Still Wakes the Deep arriving tomorrow but still part of the first titles announced for this month.
We therefore await further information from Microsoft.
