The Salvinian deputy was contacted by telephone by David Porec who urges him to apologize to Donno, who shortly before denounced the lack of solidarity on the part of the League and the Brothers of Italy for the violent act suffered.
Iezzi glosses over, then admits: “I have no justification for that attack but Donno committed an attack against a minister and if he has any intellectual honesty, he will admit that I didn’t hit him. So, let’s first re-establish the truth of the facts.”
Parenzo points out that at this point, following the Northern League’s logic, the attempted robbery should no longer be punished and adds: “Look, just say: ‘I apologize to the Honorable Donno’. End”.
“When we have re-established the truth,” Iezzi repeats.

Donno, who is connected from his home, takes the floor: “I apologize to the Italian citizens because there are people like that who unfortunately represent them. And it’s unworthy, nothing but honorable. These are dishonorable“.

The M5s parliamentarian continues: “It’s as if someone went out into the street with a gun, shot a person without hitting them and said: ‘What do you want an attempted murder to be?'”.
“So you’re admitting that I didn’t hit you, let’s re-establish the truth,” replies the Northern League member.
“Iezzi is a dangerous individual“, comments Donno.
“The only dangerous one is you who attacks people every time,” replies Iezzi.
