This is the reconstruction made by the carabinieri of the Frosinone company engaged in the investigation of a fatal shooting that occurred this morning in Veroli in the Castelmassimo area. The victim is a 75-year-old pensioner, Silvio Scaccia, while his 47-year-old son Mariano Scaccia, a lawyer at the Frosinone Bar, was very seriously injured. The one who set the fire was their neighbor, Alessandro Dell’Uomo, aged 40.

From the testimonies collected, the argument exploded at dawn when the neighbor who works as a security guard was returning home after the night shift and found the road to his home blocked by the Scaccias’ cars. An argument arose, exacerbated by a long-standing dispute with the neighbors. At the height of the argument there were gunshots and the escape of Alessandro Dell’Uomo. The 40-year-old notified his lawyer Tony Ceccarelli and handed himself in to the Frosinone police station, making himself available to the investigators.
