The Roma coach has identified the player who will lend a hand to the team’s offensive lanes next season.
Roma is working closely with its coach to establish what shots will need to be taken in view of next year. The Friedkin family company seems to be forced to intervene in all roles to satisfy the coach’s requests. In central defense we will need a replacement for Dean Huijsen and, perhaps, also one for Chris Smalling.
As for the full-backs, however, there should be a real revolution, and therefore at least one will arrive on each side. In the middle of the pitch, a replacement for Renato Sanches will be needed, while in the center forward role two players will arrive to take the place of Sardar Azmoun and above all Romelu Lukaku. Important additions will also have to be made on the offensive flanks.
But it is precisely in this area of the field that Daniele De Rossi has found the ideal reinforcement that is right for himand which, more importantly, will allow the company not to spend even a single euro on its purchase, thus allowing it to invest economic resources in other sectors of the field.
The reinforcement you don’t expect for Roma’s lanes
One of the young talents that Roma follows most closely and who is doing very well in the Capitoline youth teams is Joao Costa. The 19-year-old, who has already collected some first-team matches in both Serie A and the Europa League, continues to grow day by day.
For this reason then Daniele De Rossi will take him with him to the summer training camp, and will evaluate him in all respects as an element of the squad. If the former Giallorossi captain likes the 2005 class, he could be the ideal reinforcement for the Magica’s offensive flanks.
