Lovers of homemade stuffed pasta, and in particular tortellini with ham, will perhaps be very surprised by the results that emerged from a recent test by Altroconsumo. The experts of the well-known consumer magazine they analyzed well over 200 brands of ham tortellini normally on sale in large-scale retail stores, achieving results that leave a bad taste in the mouth.
Indeed only a few products lived up to expectations. Let’s see in detail what are the various scores that the various brands of ham tortellini to buy at the supermarket have obtained.
The best Tortellini with Ham according to AltroConsumo
To draw up this ranking of the best ham tortellini, Altroconsumo experts evaluated various parameters. Including the composition, i.e. the presence of saturated fats and sugars as well as salt, based on the Nutri-score labeling system. This allowed us to evaluate the best products from a nutritional point of view.

Obviously yesProducts without additives were rewarded while overly processed products (ultra-processed ones, so to speak) have been penalised, but always keep in mind that these are foods coming from industrial processes, therefore very different from homemade tortellini. And here’s who won the podium in this ranking.
In first place we find Luciana Mosconi fresh pasta – Tortellini with raw ham, with a score of 74 points. He follows in second place Esselunga Top – Tortellini with Parma ham DOP with 68 points. While in third place there is a product on sale at a discount store, Nonna Mia – Cappelletti with raw ham from Lidl with 62 points.
A whole series of products follows in the list of products tortellini judged sufficient, therefore with scores ranging from 54 to 43 points. Among the products to which the experts assigned 54 points we find the bronze-drawn tortellini with raw ham Ca Bianca (MD), i PAM Panorama Treasuresi Three Eurospin Mills and Cappelletti with raw ham Buitoni.
One point less for Conad (Cappelletti with raw ham and Tortellini with raw ham), Giovanni Rana (Rustici, Cappelletti crudo) scored 52 points. With 51 points we find De Angelis Pearls with raw ham and Tortellini with raw ham. Tied with 50 points are Lidl’s Nonna Mia Tortelloni with raw ham and I Love Being Excellent by Eurospin (cappelletti with Parma ham and Parmigiano Reggiano).
Followed by the Tortellini with raw ham from Ca Bianca (Md) with 49 points, the Tortellini with raw ham and Parmigiano Reggiano from Finish with 47 points. And tied with 44 points Selex Fresh raw ham tortellini with Grana Padano and Giovanni Rana’s Sfogliavelo raw ham.
THE worse
Low in the ranking we find other products under the Coop, Cecchin, Fresche Bontà (PAM Panorama), Tre Mulini (Eurospin) and le Veneziane brands, which did not even reach the passing mark.
