the police publish the ‘photo’ to try to identify her

We try to give her a first and last name. We are looking for someone who is able to give an identity to the woman found dead inside an apartment building in via Paolo Paruta in Milan on Monday morning. He was about 30 years old. A private video surveillance camera records her as she enters the courtyard of the building, shared with other buildings with the entrance also on Via Padova. She enters with a man, in the middle of the night. She in front, he in back. And about an hour later, the man comes out alone.

The appeal to discover the identity of the victim

Now the Carabinieri of the Milan Investigation Unit, led by Colonel Antonio Coppola and Lieutenant Colonel Fabio Rufino, in agreement with the judicial authority, have decided to publish a frame of the video where the woman can be seen. Not a clear photo. But it is one of the paths taken to try to identify it. In fact, he had no documents, wallet or cell phone on him. He had no scars or tattoos on his skin and his fingerprints did not find a match with those stored in the database.

The video that shows the two entering the courtyard

The video from which the frame shared with the press was extracted was recorded by a camera located in via Paruta. The footage shows the woman walking in front of the man on the sidewalk. They come from via Cesare Arici. It doesn’t seem like there is an ongoing argument between the two, on the contrary the two seem completely calm. She, with long hair, is wearing a jacket over a shirt, dark trousers and tennis shoes with white soles. The same clothes in which she was found, half dressed, and now out of breath around 8.30 in the morning.

The investigations to give a name to the woman and the alleged killer

He was without panties under his trousers, half down. No bra or shirt under the jacket, just leaning on it. And no socks under the tennis shoes on my feet. The soldiers of the Carabinieri Scientific Investigations Group will find panties, a shirt and cigarettes, found next to the body. In the meantime, homicide detectives are combing the area. There were two objectives: to give a name to the woman, described as Caucasian of medium build, and to give a face to the suspect.

Given the lack of fingerprints in the database, the woman could be an Italian without a criminal record, a European citizen or a non-EU citizen who entered illegally, without going through the registers, where it is mandatory to leave fingerprints.
