They were special days in Alena Seredova’s and Gigi Buffon’s homes: their eldest son, Louis Thomas, celebrated his 18th birthday. The former model and the former footballer have been separated for years now, and as Seredova has often recalled, she doesn’t like extended families and in fact the family party was attended by her maternal relatives, Alessandro Nasi, her husband, little Vivienne Charlotte (the daughter Alena had with Nasi), her grandparents and obviously David Lee, the second son of Seredova and Buffon.
On 28 December the footballer, a striker for Pisa, blew out the candles as he became an adult. On social media Seredova shared some photos of them in the living room of their home, and the newly eighteen-year-old also unwrapped the gifts there. The only absentee is the former Juventus and national team goalkeeper, but Alena, as already mentioned, doesn’t like “all together passionately” and Louis will certainly have also celebrated with his father and his paternal family (no photos have been shared on social media at the moment).
Among the various gifts there are also albums with some printed photos: an indelible memory of the years spent together. It is then thanks to the Instagram stories that we discover that the whole group went to celebrate at the restaurant: “A special day” wrote Alena.
Alena Seredova and the pain of separation from her son
Only a few days ago the former model spoke to Secolo XIX about how difficult it was to separate from her son. Being a footballer, just like his father, he left home at just 15 years old to pursue his dream. “He was 15 years old, we’ve been apart for two years. And if I talk about it I feel a strong grip of nostalgia. I still cry every time he leaves again. When my boys were children I always took them with me. As they got older, however, I remembered the freedom my parents gave me to let me pursue my dreams. The pact was: ‘Go ahead, but don’t betray our trust’”, Seredova’s words.
