Upon indication of Serie A Volleyball LeagueLube Volley announces that the Del Monte® Super Cup Super League, scheduled on February 28 and the1 March, for the first time at the end of the Regular Season and before the start of the Play Offs, a Trieste, in Friuli-Venezia Giulia.
The event will take place at PalaTrieste and will offer the second trophy of the season after the Del Monte® Coppa Italia, scheduled for 7 and 8 February 2026 in Bologna.
La Cucine Lube Civitanova will be in contention in the North East with Itas Trentino, Rana Verona e Sir Susa Scai Perugia.
Trento, as reigning Italian Champion, he will face Perugia, winner of the recent Club World Cup and the latest edition of the CEV Champions League; in the other Semi-final the remake of the last Italian Cup Final will be staged, with Civitanova on one side of the network e Verona.
The participation criteria:
- 1st right (Scudetto winner): Itas Trentino
- 2nd right (Italian Cup winner): Cucine Lube Civitanova
- 3rd forehand (loser of Scudetto Final – Cucine Lube Civitanova – 4th forehand takes over in succession, loser of Italian Cup Final): Rana Verona;
- 4th straight (the best placing in the Regular Season takes over in succession): Sir Susa Scai Perugia
For the third time in history the Super Cup reserved for Clubs SuperLega will be held in Trieste: the debut in the Friulian capital took place in the 1999/00 season, with the success of TNT Alpitour Cuneo against Sisley Treviso; in 2007/08, however, it was the people of Treviso who rejoiced at the end of the Final, thanks to the success against M.Roma Volley.
The times of the Semi-finals and the Final, with the television programming, will be announced in the next few days.

“It will be a beautiful setting in a definitely suitable sports hall, in an enchanting city and with four high-level teams. Even if there is still a long way to go until the event, I foresee balanced and spectacular semi-finals given that the trophy will be played between the Regular Season Play Offs, while the Super Cup is often put up for grabs when, at the beginning of the season, there are still no interpreters and the game expressed by the teams is fully tested. Among other things, our match against Verona will be the remake of the Italian Cup Final 2025, a match played very well by both teams and won by Lube in the tie-break. So the opponents will also be highly motivated. It must be said that the location so close to the Scudetto fight could create some problems for ours and the other teams involved because the two days in Trieste will weigh down the athletes before the second phase of the SuperLega Credem Banca, but this year there were no alternatives due to the need to change dates and locations I won the first Super Cup organized in the Friulian capital somewhat surprisingly.
