Recalls of sausages spread over the weekend are expanding. In fact, the Ministry of Health has reported a batch of local salami as being suppressed due to microbiological risk.
The lure of salami and soppressa
The Ministry has reported the recall by the manufacturer of a batch of local salami with garlic and local soppressa with garlic under the Macelleria Martini Mario brand. Again, the reason indicated is the presence of Listeria monocytogenes. The affected products are sold in 1-2 kg pieces with the batch number 166/24.
Salumificio F.lli Scapocchin Srl produced the recalled salami for the Martini Mario Macelleria. The production plant is located in via Giorgio La Pira 14, in Camposampiero, in the province of Padua.
As mentioned above, the Ministry of Health had already published the recall for a batch of local salami and one of local salami with garlic from Salumificio F.lli Scapocchin.
As a precaution, it is recommended not to consume products with the batch numbers indicated above. Consumers who are in possession of the recalled references can return them to the point of purchase.
Update
Carrefour supermarkets have updated the recall of the 10 batches of assorted La Sfoglia brand dry pastries previously published.
