CAMPOBASSO – Team sport demonstrates its great social strength. Molise is reliving a moment of excellent success in some disciplines, starting with football. The Hon. Lancellotta underlines as much.
“We saw it on the occasion of the victory of the Serie D championship by Campobasso, the celebrations for Isernia’s return to D, the salvation achieved by Termoli, the success in the Italian Serie B volleyball Cup of Spike Devils Campobasso and of the great A1 basketball championship by Magnolia Campobasso.
I congratulate the football clubs of Campobasso, Isernia and Termoli, who have achieved their respective seasonal objectives, for the goals achieved.
The largest cities in Molise will therefore play in series C (Campobasso) and D (Isernia and Termoli) next year. My warmest congratulations go to their presidents, managers, coaches and players.
Isernia won the Eccellenza championship and, thanks to this success, the pentro capital also returns to national football, bringing the great football tradition of the Biancocelesti outside the borders of Molise.
Just as we cannot fail to express our joy at what Magnolia Campobasso are doing, called to game 3 of the quarter-finals of the basketball championship playoffs, and Spike Devils Campobasso in the B volleyball tournament.
The Molise clubs, involved in the team championships, are giving emotions to their fans and it is always nice when you come together to share a sporting passion. We saw the celebration of colors that accompanied the exploits of their favorites.
Sport has the great power to unite, aggregate and represent the key values of life.
There are other teams that have not reached their seasonal goal, such as Vastogirardi, to whom we wish a speedy rise to Serie D, for everything that this small center has represented, even from a tourist point of view, in a championship national team and in the presence of famous teams.
In view of this season finale, good luck goes to all the other teams still involved in their respective sports disciplines and championships, so that they can achieve their set objectives.”
