The earth still shakes at the Campi Flegrei. A new seismic swarm, according to data from the Vesuvian Observatory, has produced 17 tremors since 3.20 tonight, with a magnitude of up to 2.5. “There is no damage, we are in the ordinary phase of bradyseism on yellow alert, I stick to the institutional channels, there are scientific and technical data from the relevant bodies that we respect”, the reaction to Adnkronos of the mayor of Pozzuoli, Luigi Manzoni.

“The planned activities that led to the adoption of the Campi Flegrei law decree are progressing in a synergistic way between the government, civil protection and local authorities, soon there will also be exercises for risk mitigation,” says the mayor of Pozzuoli. “Until a few days ago, the population was calmer, certainly the repeated earthquakes with significant magnitudes in the last few hours do not make us feel calm – explains the mayor -. As an administration we are providing information, we always explain the truth and the more we communicate, the more comfortable they are with respect to the absence of information”. Attention remains high: in recent days many people had taken to the streets following the 3.7 magnitude earthquake.
