Here we are. There Milan Design Week (April 16-21) is upon us. The most awaited event in the furniture and design sector returns to the Lombardy capital. And between one event and another, a coffee break, a good lunch or a drink in the coolest neighborhoods of the city

At the Hotel Indigo Milan there is Going Banana
From the collaboration between Hotel Indigo Milan, the group’s 4-star boutique hotel Planetaria Hotels And SLIDES is born Going Bananas, an installation that sees itself as the protagonist the Banana Leaf lamp, a piece of furniture designed by the well-known designer Marcantonio which will decorate the facade of the boutique hotel in Corso Monforte. For the entire duration of the MDW, the elegant nineteenth-century building will be illuminated – internally and externally – by Banana Leaf lamps, which will also leave room for other pieces from the Afrika collection present in the common areas of the hotel, such as the hall, the courtyard interior and the lounge.

American Express and Andrea Crespi’s LED installation
American Express will present on the ground floor in theor temporary lounge in Corso Venezia 2, from 17 to 21 April, a truly impressive installation. You don’t necessarily have to be a holder of exclusive cards to relax and enjoy the fantastic work ofdigital artist Andrea Crespi, Ethereal. A Digital Exploration of Intangible Beauty. The structure concentrates LEDs and holograms transforming the space into a compelling and modern environment, all blue, white and black, the colors of the house.

Martino Midali and Nap Atelier present, in the boutique Martino Midali, in via Mercato 6, “Copyright Riga”, a project designed to explore the intersection between the fashion and design using stripes as a central element to highlight its versatility and ability to transform both clothes and environments into dynamic works of art.
