Carlo Conti and Andrea Delogu present the new edition of Tim Summer Hits which will be broadcast deferred from tonight, Friday 28 June, for four weeks. The show, which will see 78 singers take to the stage in Piazza del Popolo in Rome, was in fact recorded from 12 to 14 June. The first artist to inaugurate these evenings dedicated to music is Antonello Venditti who, after performing, sent a wish to all the kids who are taking their final exams.
Antonello Venditti’s wish
This new edition of Tim Summer Hits couldn’t have opened in a different way: school has just finished and final exams are starting and what is the “anthem” of this period? Well, obviously “Notte Prima degli Esami” by Antonello Venditti. The Roman singer-songwriter performed to the tune of this hit which marked generations and generations of young people who were about to enter the “adult world”.
After his performance, the audience cheered Venditti who wanted to greet all the high school graduates. The singer said: «I would like to wish all the kids who are taking their high school exams a happy birthday, I don’t see many of them because they will be studying» he laughed «But I wanted to tell them to enjoy this period».

On the stage of Tim Summer Hits after Antonello Venditti came Tananai and Annalisa who duetted on the notes of “Storie Brevi”, Elodie who performed with “Black Nirvana” and Gianna Nannini with “Bello e Impossibile” and “Fotoromanza”.
