Bruce Springsteen, here are the new concert dates in Milan. We’re going to 2025

Milan, 23 June 2024 – Everything was ready for the two dates at the beginning of June Bruce Springsteen in Milan, after a long wait, but a few days before, the unexpected and feared news arrived by the fans: the concerts would be postponed. The good news, however, is linked to the official recovery of the two live shows scheduled in Italy, at the end of June and beginning of July 2025. Here is all the information and previews.

Bruce Spingsteen, the two dates confirmed in 2025

As anticipated, Bruce Springsteen will return to Italy in 2025 to make up for the two concerts canceled due to health problems. The singer-songwriter will take the stage at San Siro in Milan for two live shows scheduled on June 30 and July 3, 2025.

These are the new stages after the two cancellations in June 2024 due to vocal cord problems. Tickets already purchased obviously remain valid for the new dates. To be precise, seats purchased for the date of June 1, 2024 are valid for June 30, 2025 while tickets purchased for the date of June 3, 2024 are valid for July 3, 2025. However, if someone knows that they cannot organize again and repeat any trips for the period set for 2025 will be able to receive a refund no later than 20 July 2024, by requesting it from the ticketing system where you made the purchase (ticketmaster.it, ticketone.it or vivaticket.com) and following the methods reported on the relevant websites. The few tickets still available can already be purchased.

The postponement of the two concerts in 2024

It was late May this year when news emerged of a health problem related to the vocal cords for Bruce Springsteen. And a few hours later, while fans were crossing their fingers for the singer-songwriter’s imminent arrival, a press release was shared which made official, instead, the postponement of the scheduled dates.

And it read, verbatim, like this: Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band will postpone the shows in Prague and Milan under the direction of the doctor, the European stadium tour resumes on June 12 in Madrid. After yesterday’s postponement in Marseille due to vocal problems, further tests and consultations have led doctors to determine that Bruce is not expected to perform for the next ten days. From this perspective, further postponements are necessary for Letnany airport in Prague (originally scheduled for 28 May) and for the San Siro Stadium in Milan (originally scheduled for 1 and 3 June). New dates for these shows will be announced soon. Those who want a refund will be able to get one at the original point of purchase. Bruce is recovering well and he and the E Street Band look forward to resuming their highly successful European stadium tour on June 12th in Madrid at the magnificent Civitas Metropolitan.”

Nothing makes you give, therefore for the two live performances scheduled for June 1st and 3rd at the San Siro Stadium. Along with the postponement of the live shows, there is also the promise of a recovery of the canceled stages. Promise kept with the two concerts – in more than a year, however – scheduled for 30 June and 3 July 2025.

Bruce Springsteen’s latest recording projects

A few months before the 40th anniversary celebration of “Born in the USA” it was published Best of Bruce Springsteenthe eighth compilation by the American singer-songwriter which includes successful songs in a period of time ranging from 1973 to 2020. The latest project, however, by the ‘Boss’ dates back to 2022 and is entitled “Only the strong survive”. However, there are no unreleased songs but rather covers of R&B and soul songs. The songs “anticipated and promoted the project”Do I Love You (Indeed I Do)“, cover of the Frank Wilson song, followed by “Nightshift“, “Don’t Play That Song” And “Turn Back the Hands of Time“. The album obtained a Grammy Award nomination for best traditional pop vocal album in the 66th edition of the musical event. In 2020, however, it was released “Letter to You“, twentieth studio album by the American singer-songwriter but the first new studio album together with the E Street Band. The tracks addressed delicate and intense themes such as old age and death, obtaining acclaim from critics who promoted the project and the public also appreciated the album, making it reach second place on the Billboard 200 chart. In Italy, however, “Letter to you” reached the top of the Fimi chart. Together with the release of this new album, a tour was also planned. However, it was canceled due to the Covid-19 pandemic which froze and canceled all sporting, musical and artistic events in the world. Only in 2023 did Springsteen and the E Street Band manage to go on tour due to some ailments of the band members and the singer’s health problems, twenty-four tour dates were postponed and rescheduled in 2024. Then, as is well known, four dates in May and June 2024 were postponed due to Springsteen’s vocal cord pain. It will officially end on July 3, 2025 at the San Siro stadium in Milan.
