But he, the rapper Baby Gang, is in prison, having just returned to his cell from house arrest for yet another violation of the regulations.
The Evil Angel, the trapper’s album released on April 26, has displaced the queen of pop Taylor Swift from the top of the charts, in second position with The tortured poets department. Many collaborations in the album: Sfera Ebbasta, Geolier, Marracash, Blanco, Lazza, Tedua, Ernia, Rkomi, Gue Pequeno, Rocco Hunt, Emis Killa, Jake La Furia, Fabri Fibra, Gemitaiz, Madman, Paky, Niko Pandetta and Simba La Rue, with whom Baby Gang, the stage name of the almost 23-year-old Zaccaria Mouhib, also shares his judicial path and convictions.
Only a few days ago, on April 29, the trapper from Lecco returned to prison for violating house arrest with an electronic bracelet which, according to the judges of the Court of Appeal, occurred by posting photos on social networks portraying him with a gun in his hand and pointing towards the lens and the electronic bracelet in sight. Two sentences so far: one in first degree of four years and ten months for a robbery and one of five years and two months for a shooting that occurred in the summer of 2022 in a Milanese nightlife area.
The news of the return to prison was given on Instagram by the official page of Baby Gang, as its staff wrote: “They have just arrested Baby, this time the accusation is of having violated house arrest by posting on social media – we read – Too bad that this page is managed by his team and not by him personally and that all the contents published here were shot on the occasion of the permits issued by the same judges who ordered his arrest today.”
At the beginning of April the trapper appeared before the judges of the autonomous prevention measures section, saying: “I have changed, I have never broken a prescription, I have volunteered and I have done nothing wrong, only the people I have frequented in the past. My name ‘Baby gang’ weighs heavily – he added, assisted by the lawyer Niccolò Vecchioni – the victim is me, I come from a difficult situation, I have changed and I wanted to go to Sanremo this year“.
On that occasion judge Maria Gaetana Rispoli had told him: “You must set a good example, not a bad example, you have a huge responsibility, millions of young people listen to you and I lecture her – he added – not the gun, not the weapons, not the cocaine, because you have the possibility to change the mentality, you managed to do everything, you find a way“.
