Fresh from the recent change of lineup, the historic Turin heavy/power team of AIRBORN returns to the stage in the double role of promoter and headliner with the METAL WORKS FEST. The event, dedicated to heavy metal, will be held on Wednesday 1 May, starting at 6.00 pm, at The former Taurus terminus of Ciriè (TO) and will have free entry. On stage with the AIRBORN they will alternate ALLTHENIKOrenowned speedster from Vercelli, the Turin people EREGIONwho offer folk-style power metal, the IRON JAWSAsti standard bearers of uncompromising speed/thrash and, as special guests, the German powermetallers ELVENPATHon the first date of their Italian tour.
The METAL WORKS FEST is the second metal festival created and promoted by AIRBORNafter BORN TO FLY FESTIVAL which they have been organizing in autumn as their annual event since 2017. Unlike the latter, which is more oriented towards power metal, the METAL WORKS FEST it is conceived to open up to different subgenres of the heavy panorama. 2024 is the first edition, which in the band’s intentions will not remain an isolated event: we will talk about METAL WORKS FEST even in the years to come.
