Until recently we actually knew very little about the plot of the film but when the first trailer for Red One finally came out, we were able to start to get a better idea of the plot of this Christmas comedy.
To save Santa Claus, the victim of a sudden kidnapping, The Rock and Captain America were called directly. Dwayne Johnson is in fact the head of security at the North Pole, Callum Drift, while Chris Evans has been entrusted with the role of the bounty hunter Jack O’Malley. The two actors thus start a mission full of suspense and action, as shown in the trailer, which makes this brilliant and adrenaline-filled Christmas comedy one of the most bizarre films to see this winter. Johnson said of the film that it is a “mix between Jumanji and Miracle on 34th Street meets Hobbs & Shaw with a dash of Harry Potter and a sprinkle of my favorite Christmas movie, It’s a Wonderful Life“
Between action scenes, talking polar bears and fantastic creatures, One Red It seems to respond perfectly to The Rock’s description of it, all that remains is to watch a new trailer when it comes out or watch the film directly at the cinema for definitive confirmation.
Luckily, we won’t have to wait long, as the film is scheduled for release in U.S. theaters on November 15, 2024.
