Thursday 27 June closed with 1,667,949 euros (235,256 spectators) on 2,395 screens, +140% takings compared to 29 June 2023, and -23% compared to a week ago.

Still dominant in the rankings Inside Out 2 which closed the day with 1,422,295 euros (only -28% compared to seven days ago) for a total of 24,569,396 euros with an average of 2,811 euros per cinema (506). The Disney/Pixar film, in fourth place in the Cinetel animated film ranking, is only 900 thousand euros away from the first Inside Out which will be reached and surpassed today. The goal of 30 million euros per weekend remains possible even if the nice summer weather could keep families away from the cinemas.

There are several new features in the rankings given yesterday’s releases. The sci-fi thriller with horror tinges debuts in second position A Quiet Place – Day 1. The spin-off of the very successful saga of A Quiet Place starts with 79,218 euros for an average of 264 euros per cinema (300).

The action drops to third position Bad Boys – Ride or Die with 30,304 euros (-18%, excellent performance) for a more than decent total of 1,802,679 euros with an average of 139 euros per cinema (218).

Fourth position for Hit-Man – Accidental Killer. Richard Linklater’s new film debuts with 15,204 euros and an average of 88 euros per cinema (172). The director’s main earnings remain the ones achieved with Before sunrise in 1995, 1.5 million euros. Linklater’s previous film, What happened to Bernadette? in 2019 it reached 316 thousand euros.

Scale in fifth position The Bikeriders with 13,541 euros (-43%) and a total of 418,684 euros. Behind him the drama begins The undesirables with a social background that starts with 12,257 euros; the film is directed by Ladj Ly (The Miserables). The average/cinema of 1,751 euros was excellent.

The biographical returns to the top 10 Ennio Doris – There is also tomorrow with 7,425 euros (+102%) for a remarkable total of 720,308 euros and an average of 1,238 euros in 6 cinemas.
