After the presentation of Gladiator 2 at CineEurope 2024, Paramount has announced a change of date for the highly anticipated sequel directed by Ridley Scott and starring Paul Mescal, Denzel Washington and Pedro Pascal.

However, for once it is good news: the major has in fact decided to bring forward the release date of Gladiator II, which will no longer be released in the United States starting from November 22nd but will arrive a few days earlier than expected, i.e. November 15th. For the moment the date reported for international distribution is still November 22nd, but we will keep you updated in case of any future change.

The decision of this new release date for Gladiator 2 was announced at CineEurope 2024, in Barcelona, ​​where Paramount President of International Film Distribution Mark Viane also previewed some exclusive scenes from the upcoming swords and sandals epic: as we reported, Viane said that he and his colleagues were “blown away” by the first clips they saw of the film and that he says the new installment is “worth the wait,” given that Gladiator II contains some of the greatest action sequences ever committed to film.
