Angry Birds is returning with a third film that is officially in production and will bring back two highly regarded original voices to the cast.

According to Deadline, Angry Birds 3 is in the works and should follow a new adventure for Red and Chuck. It is not known what it is at the moment: the plot appears to be well protected. John Rice, who directed the second chapter, will also return for the third. Currently Angry Birds 3 has not even revealed its release window. If the first film grossed more $352.3 million at the global box office, the second one did well 147.8 million dollars but at the same time it received more positive reviews from critics.
