20th Century Studio released the Italian version of the official Alien: Romulus trailerthe new chapter of the series born in the 80s from the mind of Ridley Scott and expanded by James Cameron, which aims to start again from its strongest and most loved elements, first of all the confrontation with aliens.

In the video we can see several scenes taken from the film, which will all take place on a spaceship, where an alien seems to have massacred the crew. We can therefore admire old acquaintances in action, such as facehuggers, as well as various decidedly tense moments.

Alien: Romulus was written and directed by Fede Álvarez, to which we already owe Man in the Dark and Millennium: What Doesn’t Kill. It is the seventh official chapter of the series and has a Really simple and direct plot: Young space colonists encounter a mysterious, apparently empty spaceship.

They don’t know that there is a xenomorph inside and that they will have to do everything to survive. As explained by the director, it is not about a group of soldiers or veterans of some kind, but about normal people who find themselves living in extreme situations, positioned between the events of Alien and Aliens.

The cast includes Cailee Spaeny in the role of the protagonist, accompanied by Isabela Merced, David Jonsson, Archie Renaux and Spike Fearn. Many hope that Alien: Romulus is the film that will restore the series’ former luster, which was lost after the latest, disappointing incarnations. For the rest, we remind you that it will be released in Italian cinemas on 14 August 2024, distributed by The Walt Disney Company Italia.
