Good news for fans: the fourth and final season, initially scheduled for 2025, will arrive on TV in July.
The last trip will begin on July 21st. In the United States, at least. After a long wait and, in the meantime, a change of network, the fourth and final season of Snowpiercer is ready for its debut on the American AMC, much earlier than the initially estimated 2025. The announcement is accompanied by a teaser trailerwhich offers a quick preview of the disturbing dangers that the survivors of the post-apocalyptic world of the series will have to fight against (or from which they will have to escape) to remain survivors.
Snowpiercer will end with season 4
“We can’t wait to share the final season of this thrilling series with the vibrant community of fans and new viewers starting July 21,” said AMC Networks executive vice president of streaming Courtney Thomas in a statement (remember that , with the move to AMC, in the USA the first two seasons are now available for streaming exclusively on AMC+, while the third will be available from 8 June). “Snowpiercer it’s a gripping drama with a great cast and seeing how the run ends will be a moment highlight of the summer, worthy of a train of 1,001 carriages”.
The story will pick up nine months after the Snowpiercer and Big Alice are separated. Till and Ben encounter unexpected enemies when Melanie takes them off the train for a reconnaissance mission. Meanwhile, the residents of New Eden face uncertain times and unknown adversaries, forcing them to further grapple with the complexities of their new reality.
