How long is Deadpool & Wolverine? The running time will be a record for the saga

How long is Deadpool & Wolverine? After Wesley Snipes’ possible previews on the return of Blade, let’s discover together the running time of the next chapter of the Deadpool saga, the first inserted in the context of the Marvel Cinematic Universe of the Marvel Studios.

Released on July 24th in Italian cinemas, Deadpool & Wolverine will have a running time of 127 minutes, which is 2 hours and 7 minutes: Officially this runtime has not yet been announced by Marvel Studios, making it potentially subject to change, however it is listed on the website of AMC Theatres, the largest cinema chain in the USA, along with other information on the film considered official.

If confirmed, this length would make Deadpool and Wolverine the longest film in the Deadpool saga to date, setting a new record for the franchise: the original 2016 Deadpool film lasted 108 minutes (1 hour and 48 minutes), while the 2018 sequel, Deadpool 2, lasted 119 minutes (1 hour and 59 minutes). For the first time, therefore, a Deadpool film could exceed the two-hour mark, but even in this case it would be about a running time far from the records of the Marvel Cinematic Universe: to date, the longest film in the MCU remains 2019’s Avengers: Endgame, which lasts 3 hours and 1 minute, while in second place we find 2022’s Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, which has a duration of 2 hours and 41 minutes, then followed by Eternals (2 hours and 36 minutes), Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 (2 hours, 29 minutes) and Avengers: Infinity War (2 hours, 29 minutes).
