Rebel Moon – Part 2, 5 things wrong with Zack Snyder’s Netflix film
Descriptive text here

Released today on Netflix, Rebel Moon – Part 2 it fails to recover from the major problems of the first chapter, proposing a similar scheme and practically falling into the same mistakes. Here are five that we think Zack Snyder committed in the film.

If you want to delve deeper into the topic in the meantime, we leave you our review of Rebel Moon Part 2, because the first mistake that Snyder made is on narrative timing. Too dilated in the first part, so much so that for almost an hour the plot practically does not progress.

Then there is the big problem with the characterswho never really interact and don’t form any bonds, except because they have to fight together for the purposes of the story.

Zack Snyder also screwed up again the management of the robot to which Anthony Hopkins lends his voice: as in the first film we see him for too little time, which is really absurd given how much screentime he had in the trailers, for example.

The use of violence in Rebel Moon – Part 2 it is then enormously watered down, made on purpose to achieve the necessary rating but only capable of weakening the war scenes within the film. And in fact here are the new details on the Snyder Cut of Rebel Moon.

We close with the use of flashbacks, which Zack Snyder abuses in the failed attempt to give depth to the protagonists of the story, who unfortunately instead of enriching the story only hamper the narrative rhythm.
