(Adnkronos) – Giovanni Bardanzellu was unanimously confirmed as president of the Roman Association of Building Property (Arpe) for the three-year period 2024-2027. The appointment, as stated in a note, took place at the meeting of the Board of Directors of the Association on June 27, which also confirmed Giuseppe Bonura as deputy vice president and Francesco Caputo as general secretary.
The president exposed the program of commitments that await Arpe in the next three years for the defense of the interests of small and medium-sized home owners, especially the completion of the Housing Plan, which at the moment has been limited to the launch of the urban planning-building amnesty but which must be implemented with the other issues brought to the attention of Minister Salvini (recovery of unused public assets, redevelopment and valorisation of private residential assets through urban regeneration projects, intensification of social housing, senior housing and cohousing, support for the market of private rental with the strengthening of agreed rent rentals also with expansion to rentals for uses other than residential, regulation of the enforcement of evictions); the implementation of the delegation to the Government for the general tax review with the extension, with regards to income from buildings, of the flat rate tax also to those deriving from rentals for uses other than housing; the government of energy efficiency with the absolute necessity of introducing tax incentives for owners, who cannot be left with the entire enormous expected expense; the regulation of short-term tourist rentals which increasingly distances the resolution of the housing emergency.
