The GB Roggia Library will always remain open throughout the summer, with the exception of August 16 and 17. “This year too, the municipal administration is making a maximum effort to guarantee cultural services during the summer – says the deputy mayor and councilor for culture Manuela Maffioli. For some years now, our Library has been open all summer, except for the weekend of Ferragosto, confirming its role as a cultural stronghold and point of reference for those who remain in the city, thanks to the commitment of the staff and an efficient organization that sees only a few small changes in the opening hours of the children’s room. All of this is part of an ongoing process of valorization and improvement of the services offered to all segments of the public”.
The Monaco room and the historical area for adults will observe the usual opening hours: Monday to Friday 9:00 am – 6:45 pm; Saturday 9:00 am – 5:45 pm. Starting today, July 1, the children’s room will be open every day from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. Some children’s and young adult books will still be available in the afternoon in the Sala Monaco. Requests for texts made after 2:00 pm will be fulfilled the following working day.

As for museums, Summer hours are in effect from June 15th to July 31st. “The Civic Art Collections are open in the evening until 10pm, to offer citizens a further possibility of enjoyment in cooler hours and at the same time to contribute to the life of the city, in particular of Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II” continues the deputy mayor.
