It is a story that needs to be clarified, the one that happened this morning in the industrial area of Salerno, around 10 am, where a man, DG who is just over 50 years old, went to the emergency room of the Ruggi d’Aragona hospital in Salerno bleeding on board a refrigerated van, a Renault Traffic used for the transport of dairy products. The man was hit by a gunshot from
fire to the abdomen fired from close range. In code red driving his van he went to the hospital for treatment and underwent emergency surgery. The medics immediately realized that it was a wound caused by a bullet, immediately activating a call to the emergency number, bringing the State Police officers to the scene. More patrols reached the industrial area of Salerno to search for the shooter, the motive and the dynamics of what happened.
It seems that this morning the man loaded dairy products from a well-known dairy on the border between Salerno and Pontecagnano in via delle Calabrie, as he does every day, then probably not far away in the industrial area he met the alleged perpetrator of the injury who apparently got on board the van that hit him in the abdomen with a firearm.
The man’s life was not in danger. The agents of the scientific section of the State Police also arrived in front of the emergency room of the Ruggi hospital and carried out checks on the victim’s van, where traces of blood and other fingerprints were found, all useful elements in tracing the person responsible for the wounding . It is not yet clear whether the DG man had an argument, or whether there were other reasons, including those of a private nature, which then culminated in the explosion of a gunshot. of the Flying Squad of the Salerno Police Headquarters, under the orders of the new manager Elvio Barbati, when he is better and the doctors resolve the prognosis.
