Due to the yellow alert issued by the regional Civil Protection, starting from 10:00 am tomorrow 2 July and until 10:00 pm on the same day, the mayor Clemente Mastella has issued a warning for adverse weather conditions; in particular for Sannio, “local or scattered precipitation, including showers and thunderstorms, regularly of moderate intensity” is expected.
Therefore, the entire population is invited to comply with the behavioral rules of prudence and caution provided in the event of a weather alert for hydrogeological risk and gusts of wind: avoid frequenting underground or ground-floor premises, especially if along roads notoriously affected by large water flows and in any case constantly monitor the level of the runoff water. In the event of flooding, immediately turn off the electricity;
Proceed with great caution if you need to drive through a road underpass, a critical site in the event of a weather alert, checking that it is practicable and, if not, immediately notify the emergency numbers 112, 113, 115;
Pay maximum attention in sites already reported for hydrogeological risk (slopes and slopes for possible landslides and landslides) and hydraulic risk (underpasses and sewer collector areas for possible flooding); Observe particular caution when traveling, limiting them to what is strictly necessary;
Pay attention near trees and vertical structures for possible falling branches, trees, poles, signs or scaffolding and, in any case, report any precarious stability of such elements even in ordinary situations, reporting it to the emergency numbers 112, 113, 115; securely or remove from windows and balconies mobile elements such as plants, roofs, temporary structures or any object that could be carried away by the wind.
