On Sunday 7th July, at 7pm, the Municipal Administration of Ferrandina announces that the “the new tennis court, located inside the Santa Maria sports field. The facility was built thanks to funding from the second multi-year plan “SPORTS AND SUBURBS”, with an investment of 250,000 euros. The existing structure has been completely regenerated and equipped with all the necessary equipment to carry out sports and competitive activities, even at a national level.” “We are happy to inaugurate this new tennis court – declares the Mayor of Ferrandina, Carmine Lisanti– It is a great achievement to be able to give back to young people, athletes and the whole city a structure left in total abandonment for years. We are certain that the new tennis court will be a meeting and aggregation place for young people and all sports enthusiasts.” “Finally the city of Ferrandina will have a modern and functional tennis court at its disposal, capable of hosting national level competitions and tournaments– points out Sports Councillor Maria Teresa Di Stefano– We invite all citizens to participate in the inauguration of the new tennis court and to spend an evening together, in the name of sport and fun”. The inauguration program includes: · Inauguration ceremony with ribbon cutting; · Entertainment for children with Peter Pan, Tinker Bell, a stilt walker and lots of soap bubbles; · Balloon sculptures as gifts for the little ones; · Photos with mascots. On the court the athletes of the ASD Circolo Tennis Matera and other surprise guests.
