Sunday to remember for Legnano Baseball Softball with two victories to remember
Legnano – A Sunday to remember for Legnano Baseball Softball who brings home two winning results in Serie C and in the Under 18 category.
For the Serie C team this is the seventh victory in eight matchdays for the Legnano Kemind who also emerged victorious from the away match in Vercelli, with a round 14-0. The red and whites wasted no time immediately breaking the deadlock with a home run by Carlos in a 4-0 first inning. In the next three attacks no further points were scored, but between the fifth and seventh the deficit widened to a 7-0 which was literally doubled at the last attempt.
Thanks to this victory, the Legnano Kemind boys took the lead in the standings, moving away from Saronno (the only team capable of beating them in the first round this year).
The Under 18s also shone with a win and a home run. The match was played at home with Legnano hosting the return match between NetSystem Legnano-Bulls e Old Rags, prevailing 9-6 over their peers from Lodi. Thanks to the expert guidance of their coaches, NetSystem made some great plays both in attack and defense and, taking advantage of an error by the left winger from Lodi, Juan Alberto Contreras of the World he also hit a spectacular infield home run (pictured).
