Bisceglie, drug dealing and contraband tobacco: 13 arrests

Thirteen people arrested in Bisceglie for drug dealing and tobacco smuggling. The goods arrived in the port of Bisceglie by sea, on board boats of local fishermen. Since 4 am this morning, approximately 70 Carabinieri of the Provincial Command of the Bat, at the conclusion of detailed investigations, are executing the order implementing the precautionary measure. Jail for four people and house arrest for nine other seriously accusedin various capacities, of transfer, offer for sale, distribution and marketing of narcotic substances and of importation, transportation and sale of contraband foreign manufactured tobacco.
